About Us

Barry, Mike and I are search engine maniacs. We love the challenges of keeping current on rapidly changing search engine marketing strategies and we love watching small and medium businesses level the playing field with big business.

How did we get hooked? Good question, considering our past experience. Mike and Barry are former athletes. Mike was a UK rugby player and Barry a hockey player at the collegiate level. As for me, I guess it was somewhat preordained that I would develop an interest in Internet technologies. There's a definite 'techie' aspect to SEM and my other obsession, sci-fi comics.

Barry and Mike connected a while back at a search engine workshop in Canada - Toronto to be specific. Like most SEM people, they kept a safe distance from one another. (Neither one wanted to reveal their knowledge of search engine marketing.) A year later they ran into each other at another conference. From there they decided to start working together.

They approached me to join their team as head of the UK branch of SESIMI, their search engine marketing business. After seeing the great stuff they were doing with SEM, I knew I had to be a part of it.

So that's how we ended up forming a partnership that extends across the pond, bridged by the technology that we all know so well.
